Bennington NE and MUD Customers: 

Metropolitan Utilities District is asking its water customers for help by temporarily limiting outdoor water use. The utility has experienced a water main break at one of its water production facilities limiting its capacity during a period of extreme temperatures.

Customers are asked to voluntarily limit outdoor water use starting Tuesday, July 25 until further notice to reduce water demands on the system. Customers are asked to restrict the following activities, including:
• Irrigating/Sprinkling lawns (unless for new sod)
• Filling swimming pools
• Hosing down driveways
• Running decorative fountains
